Born in Brazil and raised in Boston, Mitchell Freitas moved to Orlando to attend college and immediately fell in love with Florida. Having made a life for himself in this beautiful city, he looks forward to assisting other people do the same through his partnership with Top Florida Homes.

An ambitiously young and tech-savvy real estate professional, Mitchell is ever-adapting to the changes happening in the world around us. His background in marketing and technology has him in tune with the digital landscape, and he is able to quickly shift and restrategize in order to give his customers the best service and maximum exposure for their properties. Mitchell strives for excellence in all that he does, especially when it pertains to his business. His goal is to leave a lasting positive impression on his customers and treat everyone with respect.

A licensed REALTOR® since 2015, Mitchell also worked as the marketing director for Axiom Fine Art Consulting from 2018-19, perfectly blending his bachelor’s degrees in marketing and film/photography. In a collaboration with Sotheby’s International Realty® in New York City, Mitchell worked to furnish the luxurious penthouse at 212 Fifth Avenue with over $2 million in artwork and was heavily involved in the marketing of the artwork. That prestigious condominium was eventually purchased by Amazon Chief Executive Officer Jeff Bezos.

Mitchell is fluent in Portuguese and speaks intermediate Italian. He is an Accredited Closing Expert, a Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist, and has been designated by the National Association of REALTORS® as a Pricing Strategy Advisor. In his time away from the office, Mitchell enjoys photography and fine art, snowboarding, traveling internationally, and cooking a great meal to pair with a wonderful wine. He also enjoys playing the guitar, singing and working out.

Formal Education

The greatest skill a Realtor can have is that of marketing. Without great marketing, homes can’t be sold quickly and at optimal prices. Strong marketing will make the home stand out among the thousands out there! My passion to hone in on these marketing skills led me to Florida International University to complete a second bachelors in Marketing. The experience and knowledge gained here directly translate into my real estate career — providing my clients with the marketing resources and acumen beyond that of my competition.

Full Sail University is one of the top universities for film and photography in terms of hands-on experience and state-of-the-art facilities. This course-intensive program teaches students a myriad of skills relevant to the film industry, from photography to storytelling, acting to production direction and design — the core of it all? An experience that has enriched my skills as a marketer. Whether this means understanding the difference between quality photography and videography or telling a story that makes your home stand out among the rest, Full Sail prepared me to create value in the products I market.


The RSPS certification is a nationally-recognized certification awarded by the National Association of REALTORS® to real estate professionals who wish to demonstrate and promote – to consumers and their peers alike – their expertise in the resort and second-home specialty. I have joined more than 4,000 real estate professionals who have earned the RSPS certification. REALTORS® who receive the RSPS certification have successfully completed the Resort & Second-Home Specialist (RSPS) Certification Course. Through this certification, I now join other real estate professionals who specialize in buying, selling, or managing second-homes in a resort, recreational, and/or vacation destination and properties for investment, development, or retirement.

The Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA) certification equips agents with in-depth understanding of techniques and strategies for competitively pricing a home based on market standards. Agents with this certification can be trusted to complete thorough Comparative Market Analysis (CMA) reports to help buyers and sellers understand market pricing, as well as tools and guidance to better work with appraisers.

The Accredited Closing Expert designation certifies a real estate professional’s technical and analytical ability in contracts, property analysis, and investment analysis. This designation is formal evidence of an agent’s experience and competency in the field.

The Excellence in Professionalism – Gold Key Certification distinguishes agents as real estate professionals who have demonstrated the highest level of commitment to professionalism and service. Developed by the Orlando Regional Realtor’s Association, this certification equips agents with the tools and knowledge for establishing relationships with fellow REALTORS®, affiliated business partners, and customers that will last a lifetime.
